Formula: Gain ratio = Diameter of drive wheel in inches × (number of teeth in biggest front chainring / number of teeth in smallest rear sprocket).
These distances are measured with the most common wheel circumference of 2096 mm. If you have a different wheel circumference, your resistance may differ. To find out exactly what you are allowed to drive, we advise you to look at the download of the Resistance Table below.
