Dear rider(s), parent/coaches.
Finally we can organize a great event this year, namely the 63rd edition of the Tour de Junior in Achterveld.
For two years we had to cancel it, but this year it will continue, at least if we get enough registrations.
The Youth Tour Assen is canceled this year. Then you would expect that several riders would come to the Tour de Junior, but this is not yet the case.
In order to organize an event such as the Tour de Junior, where the youth riders can show their sporting skills, you need a minimum number of riders. This minimum is 90 riders, we are now at 38 riders. Perhaps it is not yet fully alive with the riders, the parents or the coaches because we have not been able to organize anything in the Netherlands for two years. Maybe that’s why there’s even less interest.
The nice thing about this year is that the Vuelta starts in Utrecht and passes through the municipality of Leusden. Now, especially this year because of the Vuelta, we have had a Vuelta cycling shirt designed for the most attacking rider(s). 24 are made of this shirt and is therefore unique, beautiful to wear or to frame.
